Polish popular music is very diverse. On Polish scene one can find representatives of all types of music: punk, rock, pop, hip hop, electronic music, etc. Bands inspired by foreign music, find their own voice, very often tinged with Polish accents. This month in Studio Club you will have an opportunity to listen to many important Polish bands. Each one of them will provide you an unforgettable experience.

FISZ / EMADE / TWORZYWO SZTUCZNE (6th March, 20:00)
Fisz original lyrics carry a personal message full of quasi-poetry and introvertic observations. Emade (Fisz’s brother and producer) plays drums, keyboard and uses sampler. Their music is inspired by nu jazz, nu soul, modern hip-hop

KAPELA ZE WSI WARSZAWA (7th March, 20:00)
This band presents avant-garde interpretations of traditional music from Mazovia. Although among band’s instruments we can hear very traditional ones like violin, hurdy - gurdy and dulcimer, they sound surprisingly modern. warsawvillageband.net/

MYSLOVITZ (12th March, 20:00)
Myslovitz is a Polish alternative rock band, whose music incorporates elements of college rock, shoegazing, and - arguably - britpop, with a dose of melancholy. Although often dubbed “the Polish Radiohead” by critics, their music is actually more reminiscient of Coldplay. www.myslovitz.pl/

GRZEGORZ TURNAU (14th March, 20:00)
He has created his own musical and compositional style on the border of poetry and music. Sometimes he refers to jazz, smooth jazz, works of Marek Grechuta or Jan Kanty Pawluśkiewicz. Among instruments the most important for him

LAO CHE (19th March, 20:00)
If you would like to characterize the music of Lao Che, you need to use the concept of crossover. Their music is compilation of alternative rock, punk rock, ska, ambient and folk. COMA (21th March, 20:00)
Coma is a Polish alternative rock band, founded in 1998 in Łódź by Dominik Witczak (guitar) and Tomasz Stasiak (drums). Their debut album “Pierwsze wyjście z mroku” was a big discover on Polish rock scene. Since then, the band released two more albums also very well received. www.coma.art.pl/

STRACHY NA LACHY (27th March, 20:00)
Strachy na Lachy is the second group of Krzysztof “Grabaż” Grabowski and Andrzej “Kozak” Kozakiewicz, who play in the punk group Pidżama Porno. They founded this band because they wanted to play softer music,
